Christmas 1942 - Lee


According to Lee, my grandfather did not usually take very good photos. But this one of Lee on Christmas Eve of 1942 looks like it belongs on the cover a a magazine.
Lee would have been nearly five years old at the time - if I did the math correctly.

I could never figure out how Santa Claus was going to get down the chimney with a fire going ... but he always did ! psst ... look close ... there's that rabbit again.

Awesome isn't it Todd! Your Dad is right, our grandfather was not much of a photographer, but you and Cortni sure have the talent. Maybe way down deep Grandpa did too.

yeah, right, my Dad bought a brand new Argus C$ to take pictures June Week of '60 for my graduation ... he forgot to put film in it !!! That funny, but what's REALLY hilarious ... he did exactly the same thing when I graduated law school ! This pic was taken with his Retina IIIIC again if ...
